This is a story of two sisters, Anjali and Mitali - Anu and Meethi as they are called affectionately at home. Its Konkona a frail girl called Meethis power packed performance one should thank for reminding that some doors never should be shut. If they could be Rahul Bose Wouldnt return to Meethis world again 11 years after he raped & deserted her . Shabana in one of her many brilliant roles in her career as Meethis half sister is vulnerable & lonely as meethi . Her mother Waheeda Rehman sadly not given enough space to make an impression. The men are weak & cowards in the cast. Soumitra as Meethis father, Kanwaljeet as Shabanas boyfriend, Rahul & Meethis brother are all unable to withstand the
Challenge.

The story is almost docu-style at moments with an ending that may seem confusing to some & a bit abrupt.
