16 December is somewhat different from routine Hindi films. Director must be complimented for trying something different. Terrorists'(led by Gulshan Grover) plan to destroy New Delhi on 16 December, 2001, the 30th anniversary of the partition of Pakistan & creation of Bangladesh is the main story of the film. The plan, ofcourse, has been scuttled by Indian commandos (Danny, Milind Soman & Co.). The film is interesting in parts, but the tempo is too slow. Two unnecessary songs, picturised in Newzeland could have been averted.

Danny & Gulshan are excellent. Milind, Sushant & others are okay. Music is average.Technically top class.

Everyone must encourage the film makers, who try to present something new. Those who prefer K3G, Ek Rishta & other such stuff should avoid this film. I personally enjoyed the film.
