It was a movie which most people would scoff of. It was a movie which most people would regret having spent their money on.It went a flop. It was a movie which I found MINDBLOWING. It could be made into a bestseller. One of Emran Hashmi's best performance's. Maybe I have a thing for sad sentimental movie's. A touching story of Love, regret, sacrifice & Redemption, Awarapan is a story of a Atheist who is a kidnapper (Emran Hashmi)who loves & loses (Shriya Saran)and then joins a gang inHong Kong whose boss is Ashutosh Ranawho's "bought" a girl (Mrinali Sharma)in the Hong Kong flesh Market . Ashutosh thinks she has a boyfriend and instructs Emranto find out & kill her if she does. Turns out that Mrinali reminds Emran of hislost loveand when he finds out she does have a boyfriend Emran cant kill her. He is tortured by Ashutosh & goes to a Buddhist monastery & discovers faith & love for God. He then decides to free Mrinali. The only grouse I had was that Events in the movie are happening to fast. My fav scene was when Emran is dying and requests God for a few more hours so that he can save Mrilani. The movie has music U can hear again & again.I will givethe movie a 4 star rating out of 5. I m gng to buy the DVD. I know that fans of Action or sentimental movies will like it so I say go for it.

 

Plus Points: Beautiful Cinematography, Great music Good Performances, Wonderful action & Script.

 

Minus Points: Some fans might feel a bit queasy in some scenes.
