Thankfully itsnotyour regular tear jerkering melodramatic movie one would expect it to be. Well scripted and fast paced there is not a moment to yawn in this movie.

As this subject has been beaten to death already makes one wonder what made this one so special as the others. The realtion between Big B and his D-I-L did not reach the expected level of momentum one would expect from a movie named Babul.

Amitabh Overshadows all the starcast as usual, Hema Malini the yesteryears dream girl still can cast her dreamy magic, Rani looks stunning sporting her new trendy red glasses, Salman's scren presence was felt while John failed to create the choco boy next door image he so tried to potray with his lopsided smile.

Overall the movies pales in comparison to the other B.R Chopra flag bearers.
