Bhram Movie Review (2 Reviews)
Bhram's opening sequences, kind of bhramofies you that it is a copy of Madhur Bandarkar's Page 3. However, the story soon takes shape of a mystery/thriller and gets a grip. Hot model Sheetal Menon plays the role of a poor little rich girl who has a depreciated and abusive lifestyle because of a tragedy in her past. Dino Morea a Happy go lucky business tycoon is smitten by her (in a typical Marilyn Monroe starrer fashion) and soon discovers that her past life's tragedy has a hyperlink with his own past in a very shocking way. Soon he finds himself in the hills and cottages of Manila, looking for a possible explanation and discovers a ghastly truth. The plot was good; however, post interval the narration drags itself towards the climax. Milind Soman, a ruthless finance tycoon is his elder brother. Lets face his, Milind Soman is gorgeous, but its high he should get out of the Bhram that he can act (his performance is worse than 16 December). Simone Singh doesn't have much to do; she just slogs in the happy scenes and manages to put up some god expressions only in the sad scenes. Sheetal Menon, is like Urmila Matondkar of PYTK, stubborn and self-centered except that her performance was way below the latter. Dino Morea surprisingly comes out real good. Infact, he holds the patchy loooooooooooong screenplay. Ambitiously targeted at the Multiplex audience, this movie also has a lot of hot, vulgar and sadistic sequences. Good for the ones with a roving eye for kinky kicks.
