fardeen's character has to be the most foolish and naive .... he see his people rioting but still faults the police for his father's death ... and this guy is supposed to be a lawyer ... crap .... his acting limitations are revealed by this role ..... has not been able to emote silently and his voice is a liability to begin with ....

kareena is worse .. mr. nihalani has tried to control her .. but she manages to overact anyways ...

om puri and rati agnihotri are tolerable ....

the drunken philosophical dialogue begs one argument ... how come riots are always started by the minority community ........

the actor playing the muslim leader is ineffective ... atul kulkarni would have been a far better choice .....

all in all a loose script with drawn out sequences .. and i guess even the director had no clue as to how to end this movie ....
