Ek Ajnabee

Little did I expect that I will get the tickets..as the whole nation wanted to watch the movie
for Mr.Amitabh Bachchan but I think luck was on my side that day..not only did i get the ticket
even tough I was late.. but seems like there were very few people inside Globus (Bandra) movie
hall, the movie had already started..(I always hate when I don't get to see the advertisments)

Overall the movie was good.. good work by Mr Lakhia.. movie had a nice cool look.. but just wondering how did he get the stars into the movie.. were they told about the story the whole story? was the script actually shown to Mr Bachchan I mean the whole of it? these were the questions which come to my mind.. Movie had eveything..Mr Bachchan.. Arjun Rampal item song.. & the whole look was stylish.. but what it lacked was a story which after the interval had force to believe situations.Performance wise amazing work done by Rucha Vaidya (Kiddo u r amazing).. she
was fabulous.. her scenes with Mr Bachchan specially the one in the car on the drive back home from school was like the scene that I can take with me from the movie..
Character & Performance wise:
Perizaad Z..hardly anything to do.. then cry in the latter half

Arjun Rampal.. Good performance.. one can actually see the honesty & the kind of effort u put into your roles..I just hope it gets recognised in a better way.. just be a bit more selctive..

I think I am way to ammature to comment on Mr.Bachan.. "Sir take care of your health & get well
soon" is all I have to say

The ending does have a good twist.. Movie is worth watching once in the movie hall

 

 

Plus Points: Movie has a good look, Good Editing (was clean & gave a nice look)
Rucha vaidya,
Arjun Rampal (matched the style of the movie),
Mr.Bachchan (but obvious),
Good Effort by Mr. Lakhia

 

Minus Points: Perizaad Z..

Could have used bangkok in a better way..no tuk tuk rides.. no thai food .. no shopping streets highlighted why go & shoot in Bangkok.. where the city had nothing to do in the script..could have made the same movie in Mumbai
