Fanaa

Fanaa--the initial first part involving romance between Rehan and Zooni looks to be too inspired from movies of early 60's. At times, the shero-shayari becomes too difficult to handle. However, the faboulous music comes to the rescue of the viewers and relieves them of all the boredom.

Second half hold no anticipation. The story progresses as expected. However, why no one smelled anything fishy in the muslim name of Rehan and his Indian army dress that bore the name of Major Ranjeev is very strange.

The most tragic part in the movie is Zooni trusting the same man twice and being deceived by him on both counts.

Visually-impaired Zooni was really uncalled for. Instead, plastic surgery of Rehan would have been more appreciated.

 

 

Plus Points: Music is fabulous
Locations are very new and shot in a very artistic manner
Amir is a class apart from all khans in the Bollywood

 

Minus Points: Lara dutta should have had an item number. She showed so much cleavage for nothing.
If Kajol had to be shown as a thin girl, her hanging belly should have been taken care of in closer shots
