Gandhi My Father

I saw the movie of Anil Kapoor on Gandhi - My father

Though I admit, I had known very little on his children, I had read quite a bit on his views and books.

Had been like the rest of us, his children could have been Prime Ministers and Presidents (compare with Nehru family).  Because he desisted nepotism and favoring his own kin over others, he was referred as Mahatma, a great soul.

I dont know what the film achieved by showing this movie.  Was it sarcasm or satire?
