Hanuman

Thought that this movie would be great as it was supposed to be a full screen animated feature film.Since India does'nt get to see animated feature films on the big screen often,one felt this must be a well-cultivated attempt. But alas! it proved to be lacking in all respects, be it quality of animation, screenplay or story setup - a gross injustice indeed with a theme as great as the legendry Hanuman Ji. The unending horrible background commentary given by the actor that plays Shaktimaan in a TV serial reduces the picture to the level of a bland boring documentary.The producers have really underestimated the taste of Indian audience.

The feature film has no comparison at all with any of the Walt Disney feature films.The animation is jerky, expressions are unnatural and dialogues are far and few yet have no lip-synch. Had this theme been given to Walt-Disney for portrayal they could have and would have made a gem out of it, knowing full well what they can do with far less important characters like Tarzan , Cinderella and Hercules etc.
