Hum Apke Hain Kaun

A good movie leaves you with an overwhelming feeling that you were part of the Scenary or have partaken in the proceedings,have been invited to an engagement and a wedding where the celebration never ends. The Casting,music,and the direction makes this a livid and captivating Cinema.The glue that holds this tale of the family (if ever there was an ideal family-like the Von Trapp family in "Sound of Music",)is the music and the superb acting with special mention of Renu Shahne,Mohnish Bahl,Alok Nath,Kher and Rima Lagoo. Even Salman Khan who is verasatile in playing a dumb charecter and not much else has done well which speaks much for the efforts of a Director to get the best of the Actors. All said and done this is a movie that makes the Indian Film Industry proud since the Casting is based on the talent and not on Star Values since the Copy Cats that have followed this extravaganza have failed to elicit the similar magic. It will be difficult to replicate this Indian "Sound of Music".
