Jantar Mantar

Was only yesterday that i saw this Gujarati Play . I believe it has already showcased over a 100 times or more.

Its is a Sanjay Goradia Production Presented by Kaustub Trivedi.  Written by Imtiyaz Patel.  actually i usually like comedies BUT this time i was really very thankful to my hubby for dragging me to see this Thriller.

Great play and thrilling all the way .   Was  about the Good Force Versus the Evil.

The story line was about  a family of 3 Father a Psychaiatrist , the mother  a home maker and their daughter  a college girl full of fun and  a bubbly one  till evil spirits possessed her one night .

one day  she was  sent into a COMA  by these spiriits  to  get  even  at the  Tantric who was an Ex Professor and who was called in by her mother  to Cure her daughter  and rid her of these obnoxious creatures who had created a wild demon of her. (  much to the disapproval and anger  of the father)  who had the Tantric sent to Jail for the state  his daughter was in

Then there was lighter comedy much to the relief of the women in the audience  ( including me    ... :):) ) )  
 Played out by this  Lawyer  couple  who were seperated due to the husband being high handed with the wife. a bit of family drama as well   :)  .......

anyways to cut a long story short ...... the wife was appointed as the Defence for the Prisoned Tantric Professor ( mind you this was her FIRST CASE  challenge she had taken up after her marraige )  and she was a RIOT !!
and the husband  was fighting on behalf of the girl's father.

The acting of both the young college girl possessed , as well as the Defence lawyer was superb.  She truly brought in a lot of laughs from the audience in her innocent remarks  and the way she handled things in and out of the court.

The possessed girl also truly had the hair rise on your hands with her acting .   I know mine did and i clung to my hubbys arm much to his amusement .    

Truly i am no good a reviewer BUT  i must say that if you members do get a chance to see this Play  in gujarati or Hindi ..... do please see it ...... WORTH IT.       
much better than wasting time and money  at some silly bollywood film .
