Jodhaa Akbar

I went to the theater yesterday hoping that the movie would be on the lines of Mugal-E-Azam. But was relieved to see that it is very different from the Classic. The movie has a carefully analysed and a very interesting storyline. The transition of Akbar the 14 year old, ruled over by fanatics who fight battles in the name of their teenage Raja to a person of great character, a King for the common man and a king who unlike his ancestors believes in ruling not only the country but also its people with love and care. And how he becmes the greatest Mughal ruler of all times. The movie has some very good performances by the Hrithik Akbar Roshan and his Aishwarya Jodha Bachhan. Apart from the eloquent sets and exquisite jewellery the film's story line does not put you to sleep. Even though the film is 4 hour long, i enjoyed each and every scene. The music is also good. It looks like Ashutosh Gawarikar has used his Lagan team in this movie aswell as a lot of characters are played by actors of Lagaan.
I think i would give full points to the film....
