Jodhaa Akbar

Jodha Akbar is part history and part romantic movie which I liked  since it is different than the run on the mill movies. It made me nostalgic and I rememebered some of the great movies  of yesteryears like Meera which had beautiful Hemamalini and handsome Vinod Khanna acting in it. The photgraphy in this movie is  terrific. The battle scene and inside of the palace captures the mind. Actors Hrithik and Ash performance is superb. Only some romantic scenes stretched too long making  the audience yawn. The message of the movie about the freedom to practice one's religion does not go unnoticed. I can't understand why there is  controversy against the movie when all you do is get transported into the wonderful world of kings, queens,battles,romance and palace intrigues.
