This one really surprised us all. We did not expect it to be this good and gripping. Above all Neil Nitin Mukesh took us all really by surprise by not only his smashing handsome good looks, but also very easy going manner of getting under the skin of the main protagonist - Johnny Gaddar. He is sure someone we would be watching out for now onwards. Hope he continues to pick his roles carefully. Like it really takes some good sense coupled with some calculated risk to launch oneself in an introductory "negative" role as Johnny Gaddar as Neil has done in this movie.
Neil Nitin Mukesh, grandson of legendry singer Mukesh and son of another singer Nitin Mukesh definately knew his talent in the arena of acting & so rather than following in the footsteps of his parent & grandparent, he shines in this debut role.
Sriram Raghavan's story and direction are both superb.
It is difficult to write about a suspense thriller without giving the movie away so I would not like to go into the plot of the movie but would just say that the story revolves around a gang of five men, one of them being Neil Nitin Mukesh and another one being non other than Dharmendra after a long hiatus. And he is still a great performer . Other casts are Vinay Pathak, Zakir Hussain, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rimi Sen, Shiva etc.Partially picturised song " Doob jaa meyrey pyaar mein" is a delight to watch. It is great judgement to not picturise the full song, but the beauty with which the partial song is presented by Neil, makes one deeply urge for more ! Thums up all the way for this movie inspite of it losing its wonderful pace a little bit towards the end !!
Plus Points: Neil Nitin Mukesh;Story;Direction;Song picturisation
Minus Points: Little loss of pace towards end
