Taran Adarsh is getting too much, he praises karan johar's crap films to the hilt and criticises films made by other directors, recent examples like BLUFFMASTER.etc which are a proof of the changing indian cinema but this film which he called to be a modern day film is complete fake
the film starts off with an item song with Srk and Malaika, which is stylish but then we have John's introduction which is childish followed by Vivek's and co's worst introduction which looks like a fully faltoo show on MTV. the film tries to follow the old route with scary faces and some background music(ramsay)a few scenes do impress though
the pre-interval scene when Ajay enters the screen is interesting followed by the interval
but the second half pales, though the vishal's death scene is well executed
there is a flaw here if Vishal had shot the scenes on his handicam how come he didnt know anything abt it
and he didn't tell them
Another drawback is that the tigers given so much publicity are hardly there
the climax is also hackeyened, the aatma track looks implausible
SOham Shah who was an assistant to KARAN JOHAR And RGV makes a confident debut but he is letdown by it's script
Music is a highpt, there is no scope for music in the film hence 1 song comes in the start and 1 at the end
and a few are used as background music
Background music jars
Acting is okay
Ajay Devgan stands tall, he looks de character and plays it to perfection
John Abraham does well, Vivek is a letdown, he looks damn funny in the chilling parts(first scene post interval)and he keeps saying cut the crap which gets too much.
Esha and Lara don't get much scope only there provide glamour(why do they wear short clothes in a jungle?directorsaab)
Vishal and Kushal are good
Plus Points: music, ajay devgan's performance, a few scenes
Minus Points: jarring background score, fake ending
