We saw KANK yestday. Great acting by Rani Mukherjee. A wife who is in an unsuccessful marriage and is helpless. Typically in an Indian woman's life, I bet many women are in this stage but they dont accpt it because of the society.
Thats it! Thats the new point that karan johar brought up. She marries abhishek due to circumstaances, but cannot relate to him. She tries hard. But, she finds her soulmate after marriage. If you believe in soulmate, you will know what it means. People whom you feel you know from many years even though you just met them. They know your inner you! Thats shahrukh.
She met him after marriage. She didnt marry the person made for her in other words.
This movie is not about extra marital affairs. I think thats a cheap way to put in it. If you believe in soulmates, you realize how it hurts if you dont marry them but somebody else.
Its a puzzle what to do. And Rani played amazingly her emotions, her feelings, I could feel them.
Overall, the movie had both light and heavy moments and makes you realize lot of things in your life and relate to it.
Its a must see for every couple and also every girl who is going to get married.
