The movie has definitely something to offer. The background music, the scenes in India and the picturization are just wonderful. It is refreshing to see some of the scenes shot so well. The movie is too long. An hour or so into the movie, I felt that Subhahs Ghai has done a deliberate attempt to prolong the movie (perpahs to satisfy the audience who feel that movies need to be 3 hours long!). Vivek Oberoi has done fairly good ( This is one of his first ten movies or so! NOT LIKE SOME OF THE FAMOUS ACTORS WHO CAN NOT DELIVER DIALOGS PROPERLY even after acting in over 100 movies.). The india actress/heroine has done well. Her dances are OUT OF THIS WORLD. She definately needs a 4 star for her performance. Her dances are superb.
I did not like Subhash Ghai making use of Vedic mantras during some of the sexy scenes in the movies. Please leave "Purnamadam..." and "Aham Brahasmi.." out. Subhash, you are trivializing the meaning and profundity behind these ancient mantras by using them in this manner.
Overall this is a good movie but a lot could have been improved to make it a great movie.
Let us enjoy entertainment of a different nature.. Not always fighting, gang wars... Expensive weddings (Didi thera dewar divana...)
Worth seeing once. Songs and music are wonderful.
