Mithya

A movie like this comes in a long long time. A tribute to new Indian Cinema , the one that's not desperate to use the formula to bring the crowds into the cinema halls but is content by creative satisfaction achieved by telling a story that's not run of the mill. Mithya a director's movie and has proved rajat kapoor's mastery in the art of story telling yet again after Bheja Fry.

Mithya is an irony rarely seen in Indian cinema before, brought to life by the protagonist of the story - ranvir Shorey's character V K . What is real and what is Mithya and where does the line dissapear. VK , by a strange stroke of luck ends up playing a real life don and does well to bring out the pain, agony of a hapless victim of destiny . Good acting by rest of the cast too. A humourous film , not really a comedy , but with some funny moments arising out of some very real , not so funny situations.
