Mother India shows the real conditions of the farmers in villages. Its not rare to find this kind of stories even today. The village money landers or "Mahajans" have exploited farmers extremely as shown in the film. Performancewise it was a memorable movie for RajKumar, Sunil Dutt and Nargis. Jeevan was at his best in this movie in a wicked "mahajan's role. His dialogue delivery has been a plus pint for him in thi skind of roles. I liked the role played by Sunil Dutt in this movie the most. All songs are nice and melodious.
