Rediff.com: What is worth talking about, perhaps, are its actors. Sunil Shetty is sincerity personified and Raveena Tandon comes up with a spontaneous performance, besides lighting up the screen with her lively presence.

Indiafm.com: The film gathers momentum towards the second half, but the murders that follow and the unnecessary usage of action dilutes the impact considerably. Moreover, keeping in mind Sunil Shetty's action image, the screenplay tilts towards blood and gore, which should have been curtailed. Even the climax is bland.

On the whole, Officer is an oft-repeated saga that does not hold any promise. Its dull opening will further mar its prospects.

Nazara.com: Officer is everything you would expect from a Sunil Shetty flick. It has boredom, it has an attention-grabbing plot but as usual, the actor puts a wet blanket over everything with his moronic expessions and acting. Raveena Tandon looks charismatic, but this too cannot give life to this otherwise dead film. Moreover, the film lacks a good musical score. May be because of too many cooks, oops musicians working on the broth i.e., the music. It's a film no one in one's right senses should see. As for why I have seen the film, well, I have a job to do which takes care of my expenses.
