I did enjoy the movie. Surely it shows the creativity of a knowledgeable filmy genius or I would say philosopher. This movie can be truly enjoyable by people like me in our fifties. I relived my viewing of films of yore and how the basic format and style of making of old films and how they impacted our visual senses in those days. Reincarnation is old hat. Still it suited marvelously in this film doing a world of good to the thread of the story. A doting mother is as old as hills. Reminds of one's own mother. Naive youth dreaming of becoming hero is also a passé. But seeing our special hero in that role is a change for good. The roles are tailor-made as well as situations but the way they are directed has the clue of genius. So thrilling was the experience I could just keep my mouth open with wonder all though excepting when chewing on my pop corn. My only worry is the expected bandwagon of produces copying the format in sequels and burning their fingers. The villain did well. Rampal I heard. The heroine, a debutante fitted well for the old film looks. The parody of side stars in the real world is a bit depressing reflecting their miseries. The beauties around hero as sidekicks is a bit exaggerated. The costumes, yes I give my award. The screenplay is halting most times. The songs are already familiar and so nothing to write home about but to hum. A filmgoer like me who is very critical wore a thinking cap and gave marks.
