Previous One Two Three Movie Review (4 Reviews)

The latest Bollywood film with the screenplay and direction from Ashwani Dheer is a clear example of film-making without a clear thought . The film titled ‘One two three’ has been made for three simple reasons. One- for presenting cheapness through dialogues, two- for displaying vulgarity through different scenes and three- for fooling the viewers in the name of comedy. In fact, the film that poses to be a comedy, has only turned out to be a  complete disaster in the name of entertainment.

Many a times, before making a film, a theme is decided and based on the theme the screenplay and dialogues are written. But, in the case of ‘One two three’ it looked like the artistes were signed first and then the scenes were written on the spot, so as to accommodate them. If you can imagine that there are three different persons with the same name i.e. -Laxminarayan involved in different professions and then coming together at one place only to create confusion, it’s enough for shifting the scenes at three different places to cover all that nonsense they are involved in.

So, you have Sunil Shetty, Tushar kapoor and Paresh Rawal to play Laxminarayan and over and above that there is Upen Patel to play that undefined role with a heroine attached in the form of Tanisha . The other two girls involved in this vulgarity show are Esha Deol and Sameera Reddy, always ready to utter any non sense dialogues without understanding its meaning . The other four characters who play the goons are let free to utter whatever comes to their mind and one of them tries to bore you to the maximum trying to mimic with the voice of late actor Jeevan. Throughout the screenplay, the film is presented in a patchwork, with the camera moving from one set of characters to other, without maintaining any link.

With feeble direction and unconvincing screenplay, the characters of this film too behave directionless. Not a single one of them could perform to even minimum satisfaction of the viewers. Needless to say that the supporting cast was the worst. The film is not worth from any angle. It only makes you think, for what class of people this offering is made?
