The affluent Brit, Rohan, returns to India to attend his cousins wedding where he falls for Roshni and marries the Indian girl in quick succession. On returning back to England as Rohans bride, Roshni soon learns of Rohans recklessness. His impulsive ways encourage him to engage in a post-marital affair with a sultry Londoner, Maya (Kashmira Shah). Roshnis accepting of and adapting to this new woman in Rohans life allows room for Maya to dig her claws in more.
Divorce is inevitable which puts Roshni on the streets of London. In solitude she fortunately meets an out of work Lawyer, Ajay (Milind Soman), who uses his know how to get Roshni her due rights. As Rohans memories bring us to present day we are confronted with what guarantees to be a fiery and soul-searching finale.

The movie is can best be described as a love story that goes wrong, runs through a legal drama and a violent conclusion. Roshni is directed by Karan Razdan.
Roshni (Kiran Zaveri) is simple Indian girl who falls in love with Rohan Kapoor (Bikram Saluja) an affluent businessman and NRI. He is impulsive and charming and in no time the two get married and head for London. But Rohans impulsiveness rears its ugly head as Roshni finds out that he is a womanizer. He catches the fancy of Maya (Kashmira Shah) a woman who is much more progressive in thought and attitude than Roshni. Roshni is devastated when she finds out about Rohans affair but being the submissive person that she is, she decides to cope with Rohans philandering ways anyway. Maya becomes more possessive about Rohan and asks him to divorce Roshni. Suddenly, the small town girl finds herself in an alien land with no one to help her. Thats when she meets Ajay (Milind Soman) a handsome, out of work lawyer. He decides to fight for her and use his knowledge of the law to give her what she deserves from her divorce. Eventually, Roshnis pain becomes the fuel for her awakening and she emerges as a new woman. Things take a nasty turn and someone is murdered. Who is the culprit? Her estranged husband or someone else?
