Love is an expression of the feeling for one anouther from the inner sanctum of the Heart.This immortal embodiment is never portrayed in a more heartbreaking lyrics and words as Raj Kapoor does in "Sangam". If Taj Mahal was tombstone of love-

then "Sangam" is the celluloid version of Taj Mahal.The wind is blowing,the curtains swaying to the innermost tumultous suspicion if it is true love and it is genuine-in this scene,Sunder (Raj Kapoor)is on the Piano replaying a song meant for his love of his life Radha(Vijayantimala,the song is Dost-Dost Na Raha-Pyar Pyar Na Raha-Zindagi Hame Thera-Et Bhar Na Raha--an unending quest for his Beloved's love and rightfully so. This is more romantic than anything else I have seen in Hindi Movies. And there is-Mera Prem Patra Padkar-probably the best romantic song,amidst the most romantic and lush greenary ever seen in a Hindi Film as a matter of fact any film. That is the epitome or romance. There will never be a Movie like "Sangam" since there will never be Film maker like Raj Kapoor.
