I am writing this review not for people to make decisions, no one would think twice before going for a Amitabh-RGV combo movie, i just had to write my hear out.
Shanker(Abhishek) holds his fathers hands like a supporting peer, he says "I know whats good for me and i can take care of myself. I have thought about it but i also have some responsibilities" Thud!! that hits us straight in the heart somewhere. Small B is a midget compared to Big B's piercing look and helplessness but he scores..he definitely scores.
RGV, Big B and Small B have made the realism come alive with such simplicity that people had forgotten long back in the eras of Bimal Roy and Guru Dutt.
This is certainly not a gangster movie, i cant even call it a movie. It has drama.. pure drama.
Its just a story told with sincerity and lot of warmth and affection. There are very few dialogues in the film so few that you can narrate them word to word. The actors' eyes have done it all. RGV needs no introduction for handling a bold subject so superbly touching politics, administration, social problems, Underworld nexus, romance, love, love for parents and yes above all justice!!!
The lighting effects are awesome, music enthralling, cast well thought of: "Rasheed" really haunts.
Masterpiece is too small a word for this film. Go Watch it with high expectations. No fear of being dissapointed.
