John Matthew Mathan who gave us a refreshing and novel SARFAROSH in 1999 seems to be at sea this time
The film does tackle subjects that are of importance but after a riveting half an hour things stagnate
The friendship betn Ajay and Shahid looks unconvincing
The second half has many flaws too like Shahid who meets with an accident, a millionare is treated in a small hut, strange
even the climax looks contrived
in short the film falls short of expectations
thanks to it's script
Acting is the only bright spot
Ajay Devgan excels ina negative role, his role has shades of Amitabh's role in TRISHUL and he is terrific
Shahid springs a surprise, delivering a topnotch performance, proving that with g8 directors, he too can deliver, and not just ape SRK
Bipasha is perfect in her role, Amrita is wasted
