Taare Zameen Par should be mandatory viewing for all parents and teachers. School authorities, parents and teachers, in particular, would do well to wake up to the inhuman treatment meted out to students in our country. I strongly recommend they see Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par. The movie does quite a job of showing that our education system is outdated. The movie should be made mandatory viewing in every school like donation is. Ten years from now, if Amir's effort in making this movie changes the education system and in the way parents regard their children even by one per cent, it will be an achievement!
