Madhur Bhandarkar has done it again. He has focussed on another aspect of society that is disturbing. Beggars and salespeople at Traffic signals

His Page3 focussed on the frivolousness of the Page3 culture where the rich simply went to see and be seen. A reporter is disillusioned by the lack of depth in these people and is aghast by their lack of morals till it reaches a crescendo when a leading businessman is discovered to be a pedophile using charities to feed his sick obsession

In traffic signal the mafia control of beggars and traffic signals is exposed through the boy in charge of one such signal, Silsila. His relationships and his life are played out including getting his sister married and his love affair with a saree seller at the signal. Till one day Silsila is called to assist his mafia boss. He wants to kidnap an honest municipal commisioner since he refuses to allow the construction ofa flyover that they wish to build with a leading builder. When the municipal commisioner is killed Silsila realises that he has beenlied to. Now his business and livlihood is gone since the signal is removed to make way for the flyover.

He is upset and feels betrayed and turns approver and becomes a witness. His mafia boss is arrested

It is a story that says the smallest person will rebel if u take away his livlihood
