This one is about a broken promise. To the Audience. But then what can you expect from the Satish Kaushik School of Cinema. Heres another bad one from the good guy who had made us laugh throughout his acting career.

The movie gyrates around the all time jaded and fatigued plot of I love you to- pieces. Here goes the story (or the lack of it!!!)

Amisha Patel looking hapless throughout commits suicide in the first scene. Husband Arjun (oomph) Rampal & his friend - Wanna be Sharukh Khan (read Zayeed Khan) play the Who- dunn it game till the movie lapses back into languid flash backs to spill the beans.

Hapless Amisha & Wannabe Shahrukh (read zayeed) are going around (the town, the Coffee Shops & the Cinema) holding hands and making promises. Hapless discovers that Wanna be is the-I-love-you-to pieces and will bring down coffee shops et all if they dare come near Hapless honey. By-passers, Security guards, daddy dearest (hapless senior) get bashed up till wanna be leaves for foreign locales to earn the money and win back his honey. Hapless honey meets Arjun(oomph!!!) Ramphal and they decide to live happily ever after, till hapless wants driving lessons from Hubby dearest and bumps the exotic car into the nearest pole. Hubby dearest loses his eyesight but vows to see the world through those hapless eyes. And Guess What??? Wanna be returns to claim hapless honey from her hearth and home. Hapless refuses and makes some decided statements about belonging to hubby dearest only. ( Grow up!!! Mr. Producer, this does not mean more collections even in B- Class towns !!!!) What more is hapless is seen with wannabe by Hubby who is just back from a Singapore trip with gifts, surprises and oh yes !!!! an ability to see whats cooking behind his back!!!! While a guilt stricken Amisha commits suicide she manages to leave a confessional statement for hubby. Hubby listens and vows to take revenge. And by the time you beg them to stop, Wannabe and oomph!!! struggle in a cat & mouse game which is at best juvenile.

Rampal does a retake on his earlier blind avatar in Aankhein but unfortunately he does not relive the same magic. He doesnt get a strong cast support that blends well with his understated and subdued character. In fact characterization is Vaadas Achilles heel. So while Ramphal looks utterly out of place crooning Teri Kurti Sexy laagti hein, Zayeed looks too yuppie to be a dogmatic lover. Amisha is meted the worst treatment, to be reaffirming faith in love, marriage and hubby with moist eyes and mouthful of trite dialogues must have been be a tough job. The music is pass, the screenplay terrible.

Overall If you havent seen it forget it, if you have seen it, dont bother, we all make mistakes!!!!!
