Yakeen

Yakeen stars Arjun Rampal as Nikhil Oberoi and Priyanka Chopra as Simar. Nikhil and Simar are a happily married couple but things are not always what they seem. As the couple is driving home one night, they get into a car accident, which leaves Nikhil in a horrific state. Apart from his face being disfigured and requiring plastic surgery, he also lost his memory. Simar, however, only suffered minor bruises, which raises questions as to what exactly happened that night. During Nikhils hard ordeal, Simar takes of him and helps him with his recovery.

Soon Nikhil starts getting flashbacks but still is unable to piece together his visions. Some of these flashbacks lead Nikhil to suspect Simar of having an affair, so he hires a private investigator (Saurabh Shukla). Nikhil finds out that Simar and a nightclub singer (Ankur Nayyar) were having an affair and with the help of his friend (Kim Sharma), they go to the singers house. Nikhils imagination runs wild as he roams the house where his wife and her lover carried on with their affair.

Things start to go wrong when Nikhils friend learns the truth about Simars secret and pays the price with her life as shes killed. What is the big secret and why would someone kill rather than let the truth come out? Watch the movie and find out what the secret is and see the unexpected twist in the story.

Without giving away too much about the movie, it was full of suspense right to the last scene. The movie soundtrack had some good songs such as Tune Mujhko, Bhoolna Nahin and Meri Aankhon Mein. Forthcoming movies with Arjun Rampal are Hum Ko Tum Se Pyaar Hai opposite Amisha Patel, Ek Ajnabi, Dil Sachcha Chehra Jhootha and Karan Johars Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Priyanka was last seen in Barsaat and will be appearing in Deodhar Gandhi, Ek Hasina Ek Deewana, Bluff Master, Krrish and God Tussi Great Ho where she is paired up with Salman Khan.
