So that is Ganesh. Carefree, unemployed and rich with the so called disapproving father. He meets Sanjana at a shopping mall when he falls into a manhole looking at her and she helps him out ! He of course has her watch and needs to find her to give it back. Now start a few absurd coincidences where he misses and sees her. A ridiculous scene where he meets her on the way to his doting mothers best friends house for a week should have been cut. She throws him her hanky and he runs all over trying to catch it till he has a fight with the eventual villain for it ! Of course when he reaches his mothers best friends house Sanjana is her daughter. Surprise. Surprise

He falls in love with her and finds out to his dismay that she is to be married in a week. Of course he has to get her now which he does eventually. ( Happy go lucky guys like him Shah Rukh in DDLJ never miss their target).

WIll he get to marry her and get to have her eccentric father as his father in law? Well you have to see the movie to find out dont you?

Anant Nag as the eccentric father in law who shoots anything he dislikes is excellent. Ganesh definitely has personality. Sanjana is ordinary and may not go far

The music is excellent and along with Ganesh and Anant Nag are the reasons for this movies huge success

Ganesh should have been poor to create some conflict. The villains motivation was poor and he seems to have very little to do. The rabbit was a good idea and so was the temple where the guy has to carry the girl all the way up. I wonder if such a temple actually exists.

This movie worked in spite of a weak villain. But then if a woman can get a 'happy go lucky' guy to show emotion the movie is already a hit
