Rajamanikyam

Let me start by saying, I am not a mammotty but a hardcore mohanlal fan.Rajamickyam was the first movie of mammotty that I have seen in a theatre(Though I have watched many of his movies on TV,video,etc.)Mammooty has surpassed even Mohanlal(in movies like Narasimham,devasuram etc & the kind of self praising movies that followed) in this movie.

Director Anwar Rashid has lifted Malayalam cinema to a new level by subjecting us to a new kind of treatment(never seen before in a Malayalam movie).Though viewers of Tamil & Telegu cinema may have come close to such camera angles;but this one is certainly a first for Malayalees. The story is humbug,but it is the sheer screen presence & acting prowers of Mammooty which powers the film through out.Full marks to Anwar Rasheed for great direction,camera angles & ofcourse chating a new direction for Mommooty.

Watch out for Anwar Rasheed... A new director is born!
