A Marathi movie directed by Umesh Kulkarni.
I have not seen any other film like Valu, The hero or the main character of the movie is Bull! And the whole story is developed around this creature and the drama, it created in a remote Maharashtra village,
where a bull is let loose in the village in god’s name. The bull is free to roam anywhere in the small village of Kusavade until it goes berserk and starts destroying crops and the village. So a forest officer is called to catch the culprit. Kulkarni used this animal to focus the socio economic conditions, Village politics love, greed and every aspect of any village. He used hillarious method to tell his story. The Movie is lengthy, more editing was required to make a bit racy, other wise an excellent movie.
The main things that moved me are acting and make up.
Barring 5/6 actors all are new faces, but how they acted, Sorry they never acted they became simply the character.
A must see movie for those who are Lovers of Good Cinema.
