Sify.Com: Vijay is an unemployed youth who runs a teashop. He makes enough money to send his brother to college where he gets involved in campus politics and later dies. Now it is revenge for elder brother who comes to the city and fights Ponnambalam, a local goon and his boss Aashish Vidyarthi. Meanwhile he falls in love with Reema Sen who along with Vadivelu (in a double role) helps him to bring the villains to the book.

The film promises to be a typical Vijay masala movie with six fights and six songs tuned by Deva and picturised abroad. The others in the cast are Monica, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Vimal Raj and Yugendran. Camera is by Rathnavelu and editing is by V.T.Vijayan. Patukottai Prabhaker has written the dialogues and the story, screenplay and direction are by Venkatesh.

He is seen wearing a new hairstyle that appears more like an ill settled wig on his head. The movie revolves around the sentiments, emotions and bonding of two brothers. Apart from this the movie also caters to satisfy the expectations of Vijay's fans with its usual dose of romance, dance & songs, action sequences and comedy. Vadivelu does a dual role in the film. The ravishing beauty Reema Sen who starred opposite Madhavan in 'Minnale' is cast as the heroine opposite Vijay in the film 'Bhagavathi'.
