Begining with the end... a caption in Tamil states that a person decides how his end will come based on the path that he chooses to take in his life. On the contrary... for those who came expecting a good entertaining 'Vikram' inspired fare... it would have been more disappointment than elation!

This is a story about organised gangs... what drives them, about inter / intra gang rivalry... and its consequences. Those who have seen the Rajni and Mamooty starrer "thalapathi"... its an all too similar sounding story about no holds barred loyalty to the Gang, and its founder member, and their cause... a cause which Prakash Raj does almost over emphasize with his mention "Naanga Vera - We're different" in every second scene.

For those who had waited long to see a Vikram starrer... this movie would have to be considered a let down. Vikram carries of the role with ease, with the right kind of intensity in the fight scenes and that of a love struck here in scenes involving Trisha. But an unimaginative storyline makes this only an average movie... an also ran.
