Day by day, remakes of other language movies in Tamil are considerably increasing. Cheena Thana 001 is the remake of Malayalam movie CID Moosa.

Dileep and Bhavana played the lead roles in the Malayalam version. In Tamil, their roles will be played by Prasanna and Sheela.

Sheela made her debut in the movie Illavattam. Midvalley Entertainment is producing this movie. Manivannan, Ilavarasu, Delhi Ganesh and Riyaz Khan are also included in the cast.

Cheena Thana 001 is a hilarious comical entertainer. Every youngster has inborn talents within him. This movie's story is about the two friends who turn into a Police officer and a thief in the course of time. The problems arising between these friends are handled in a comical way.
