Evano Oruvan

Dombivili Fast, the Marathi film, was not just critically acclaimed but it was also a huge commercial success. The film, directed by Nishikanth won as many as 24 State awards and it was also screened at many international film festivals, and received awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and the like. Whats more, the film has crossed 200 days and it is still running successfully in Mumbai.

Now, this film is being remade in Tamil by the same director. Titled Evano Oruvan, this film stars Madhavan and Sangeetha in the lead roles. The script has been given prominence and no effort has been spared to make this film suit the Tamil nativity and milieu.

Madhavan plays the role of Sridhar Vasudevan, an ordinary person from a middle class background. The shooting of the final schedule of this film is currently on, and plans are on to release the film this April.

Cinematography for this film is by Sanjay Jadhav, art by Nagu RK and The dialogues are by Madhavan himself, while director Seeman supervises them. Abbas Mastan and K Chera Chera are the producers of this film.
