First Time

There is a buzz in Kollywood about this movie, First Timethe first Tamil

film with an English title, in recent times. To start with it is directed by

Krishnan Seshadri Gomatam who has worked with two legends of Indian

Cinema P.C.Sreeram and Mani Ratnam. The hero and the heroine are both

first timers as is virtually every other actor in the movie. Behind the scenes

however there are veterans like B. Lenin and Thotaa Tharrani and acclaimed

professionals like Fowzia for Cinematography and Aslam Mustafa for music.

This is the first time Tamil Cinema is being introduced to a new genre called

Metro movie. The movie apparently has a loveable, humorous, self-

deprecating hero and an intelligent, attractive and self-confident heroine.

Now, thats certainly a first time!
