Had been to watch 'Varalaaru' last weekend

No Signs of warnings from others around you... though nature tried its best to stop us by lashing its watery face throughout the day and flooding the roads. But nothing could deter us on that day from falling into the pits of hell.

Dripping wet, we reached the movie hall and prepared ourselves for the assault.

The movie started with the usual Ravikumar masala. And yo! Asin was dancing for 'Dinam Dinam Deepavali'. Now jus becoz the movie is releasing for Diwali doesn't mean that you need a song signifying it. Boo hoo.... we just couldn't make out why it was happening to us.

The movie continued playing with such (un)expected??! twists and turns and YAHOO.......it was interval. Time for a hot cuppa cappuchino and munchies. This was the most exciting part of the movie. Yes we definitely needed a break to get back to those dumb acts.

Putting up brave faces we went back to the screen. Ajit as usual tries to emote a lot with his constipated look and as usual doesn't succeed. Movie catches up a bit when the older Ajit reveals his true personality ..!?? A DANCER

He has definitely done a commendable job as a Dancer and his mannerisms fit to the T. This is one role which shows that he actually takes effort when it comes to doing different roles. He maintains these mannerisms even in his old age and in the climax fight.

What made the whole effort very entertaining was the family sitting next to us in the hall. They seem to enjoy every damn stupid scene in the movie and were giggling and laughing their heads off during the so-called comedy scenes. Climax of the movie did make us bring the roof down with the laughs as the lady sitting next to us moves to the edge of her seat excited over the nail-biting end and suspense of the movie ... sad... real sad... we wonder how they could enjoy even this movie. maybe they are used to watching the equally thrilling Tamil Serials on Sun TV.

Another rainy weekend dedicated to a stupid movie
