Prakash raj as a producer seems to handpick the talents available with people. here in this film it is none other than director V.Priya.

As a directory, priya has handled the screenplay n direction very well. Remeber priya is maniratnam disciple. The concept of the movie is same old, hero n heroine fight ends up in love n marriage. But this marriage is not that usual one, as laila n karthik gets engaged. but since laila is not honest in the way she presents herself to karthik pre-engagement, the marriage date gets postponed by 6 months. since karthik was not intereseted in the marriage he leaves her saying that the marriage wont take place. Then finally when karthik comes back frm US, he finds prasanna and laila are in love n they wanna get married. Karthik does the same role wat he did some years back in alaipayuthe. The film has got inline comedy which makes you to laugh and smile. The songs are too bearing to hear, except two. The songs helped in stretching the film by another 20 mins. The film runs only for 2:10 mins only with the songs.

The film is worth watching.
