Remaking an award winning malayalam movie always needs a lot of guts. Director vijay has it and have remade it for tamil audience without the realism being lost. Good job done.

Ajith and rajkiran have done some excellent performance. Both have not over acted and they have lived as the character. Director has done the casting as smart as he could and made the movie worth a watch.

Ajith has always proved the critics wrong by showing he is not only a mass hero, he can also do varied roles like valee, mugavari, villain and varalaru. If he keeps selecting his scripts in this way with a right mix of realistic and commercial movies, i am sure he is about to reach great heights.

G.V.Prakash music is soft and cool which doesnt go out of the story at any point. The background score is good and it holds the feel of the film. Thiru's cinematography is excellent and has captured the scenes right in front of our eyes with excelent editing from antony.

Adlabs and sujatha cine arts have come out with an nice film after a long time. Its definitely worth a watch
