India4u.Com: Acclaimed Malayalam director Priyadarshan (of 'Siraichaalai', 'Gopura Vaasalile' fame) re-makes the Malayalam superhit 'Summer in Bethlehem' into 'Laysa Laysa'.Ex. Miss Chennai Trisha makes her debut in this film and is paired opposite to Shaam.

The story is about a young girl (Trisha) who visits her grandfather and cousins in Ooty. She has a lot of fun with her cousins. Shaam is a friend of one of the cousins, and he falls in love with Trisha. But, Trisha has a tragic story that she had been keeping a secret. She tells Shaam that she has a lover who is in jail.

Whether Shaam helps re-unite Trisha with her lover or ends up joining hands with her forms the exciting climax. Who plays the role of Trisha's lover in jail is kept a surprise. It is likely to be Madhavan or Arjun.

Acclaimed Malayalam actor Srinivasan takes charge of the comedy. The cast includes Malayalam actor Innocent, Vivek, Radha Ravi, Cochin Hanifa, Satyapriya, Mayilsamy and Fatima Babu.

Laysa Laysa is a complete family entertainer with lots of youthful fun along with suspense and mystery.

Sify.Com: This is another film from the remake factory of Priyadarshan. This time the film is remade from the Malayalam hit Summer In Bethlehem. Shaam and debutant Trisha are in the lead cast of Lesa Lesa.

The story is set in a hill station (Ooty) where a rich man comes with his five grand daughters (four of them are Mumbai models) for vacation. The fifth girl (Trisha) is very smart, and she is the favourite of the grandfather. But she has some secret, which nobody knows. The girls meet two guys, one of them their own cousin who are their neighbours and they play all pranks on them. One of them (Shaam) falls in love with Trisha, but she shocks him, by telling that she has a lover who is in jail. This forms the climax of the film. Two Malayalam stars Sreenivasan and Innocent are roped in for comedy. Madhavan makes a cameo role in the end. The film is a full-length comedy entertainer.

Vikram Singh who had produced 12B produces the film. Also in the cast are Vivek, Radha Ravi, Cochin Hanifa, Satyapriya, Mayilsamy and Fatima Babu. The film has music by Harris Jajaraj and cinematography by Thiru. Art is by Sabu Cyril, editing by N. Gopalakrishnan and the choreographers are Kala and Prasanna.
