Santosh Subramaniam -

I watched Santhosh Subramaniam this weekend with some expectation of an entertaining film - based on Jeyam Ravi's previous films. I was acutely disappointed. The heroine, in trying to appear carefree and frivolous just sounded mentally retarded to me. The plot was unbelievable and cliche-d. The only aspect of the film that I did like was the father-son relationship. How true that so many parents smother their offspring in the name of "love", "care" or "concern". A 24-year-old should have enough experience to make some decisions on his own, surely. This could have been brought out in amuch more prominent manner.
All in all, it was one of those films that was forgotten minutes after the TV was switched off.
