I first of all would like to request ardent Rajini fans to pardon me.....Cuz I'm sure the review won't be too pleasant to your ears.

The theme adopted in the movie is same old theme which we have seen in numerous other films. The same old story of trying to sweep out black money from wealthy persons and using it for good cause of promoting education among low rung society....Another Robin Hood story..

Whatever role is given to Rajini, he will always do justice to the role.Its the same in this case too. But the first half of the film could have been laced with some action stuff, cuz the comedy part didn't work out too well. Some of the scences evoked smile, but some other scenes really made us grin with irritation.

I don't know why Shankar has gone out of his mind. One could have never imagined that Shankar will direct such an outdated story, that too with Rajinikanth. Well, as you all know, the film turned out to a success..Thanks to the magic weaved by Rajini on all of TamilNadu.

But sure there is some need for retrospection for director Shankar. And Rajini should be choosy when it comes to signing a film. He should not accept for director or producer's sake. And there is lot of homework to do before Shankar could roll out his next flick.

Oops!!Sorry that i haven't mentioned Sriya's performance. Sriya, I think, didn't have too much acting to do..She was just there as a glamour doll. Nothing else. One couldn't help but appreciate her extreme beauty, but what is really needed for her to emerge as the best heroine is some praise for her acting.

And then it was always the Black Rajini that people liked, not his white looks. So why don't he refuse to act in such scenes. And there was clear lack of catch phrases in this film. It doesn't behoove a Rajini movie. His films are always remembered by the catch phrase or puch dialogues.

So my kind advice to Rajini will be--"You stick to your own style, Please don't imitate other's style"
