Theekuchi

New hero Jaivarma has been given a good subject of education in bad hands. He has done it well though. Having good physique, fights well, but has to improve a lot in acting.

Jai saves the life of college chairman (Ashish Vidyarthy) and asks a seat in the favor. Since he is a poor student financially, goes to college making new friends, who are all poor. Ragging is done by chairman's son. College gets lot of fees under different names (term fees, donation, new lab building fees etc..) , which the poor guys couldnt afford, but somehow manage to pay them.

For one of the friends, his father becomes paralysed and couldnt pay the fees. Since he was not permitted to write the semester exams, commits suicide. The chairman gets written letter that he killed himself in love  matter, to stop the bad name to college. His daughter (herion) loves hero, but doesnt say so. Jai finds out the bad things the chairman and principal are doing and wants to punish. To get deemed university status, chairman asks girls in bed for the UGC people, which Jai finds and rescues them. He takes this to president along with so  many other documents. He tells flash back, why he wants to take revenge on chairman.

Banupriya is Jai's mother, wife of dead military man. She wanted to get a school for the village and manages to get it from education minister (Dhandapani). But, Ashish (who is a local rowdy and liquor supplier) while helping someone get a college seat through Dhandapani, gets money. So he plans to build a college himself in same land that Banupriya plans to build school. Because of this clash, Ashish kills Banupriya, makes the people run out of the place and builds college.

Thats why, Jai wants to take revenge on chairman. While helping Jai take the documents to president, the friends are all killed. Jai at last manages to take the documents to president and plans to tell the matter to president when he comes to inaugurate new building for the college. Before the function, Jai kills everyone of the goondas. And in the function, asks justice to poor students. Asks to make college education free of cost and some dialogues and goes to jail for killing people.

A good subject, but goes slow at some places. No songs are good. Ramesh Krishna as mess owner gives some comedy, else its boring. SS Rajengran (yester years actor) is seen as president, good to seem him. Hanifa, Banupriya, Vinu Chakravarthi, Rajiv all come in some scenes. Theekuchi's message, could not reach public.
