Aa Roje (Kadha Modalaindi)
The
story is old and has been repeated a number of times in films. A bank
is robbed and the hero gets himself unwiitngly into the action. Chandu
(Yashwant), Vijay (Vijayasai) and Babloo (Babloo) are friends and study
in th same college. They are not happy as girls do not care for them.
They are poor and cannot afford bikesa and this is shown as the reason
why the girls shumn them.
When they are about to commit suicide,
a rl estate agent approaches them and offrs them good commsiion if they
can bring a party for his land. The hroe manage to find a custeoker
Prince (Brahmanadam). He buys the land and the heors geta good
omission. With this oney they buy bikes and the girls start going out
with them.
Meanwhile Sharif plans to rob a bank. He succeeds and
the loot, Five crores are placed in the van in which the heores plan to
go on apicninc with the girls into the forest. Prince also wantd to rob
the bank. But he is late. Howev, he wathce sharif putting th loted
monyin the van. He follows the heroes into th forst. The villain is
also after them as the money is in the van. The hero who comes to know
about the mony in the vn wants to hand it over to the police. The hero
finally manages to give a slip to both Sharif and Prince and hands over
the money to the police. The villains are put beind bars and the film e
ends on thi note.
The film has nothing o boast about. But for
the performance of Brahmanadam and Sharif, tere is nothing much worth
mentioning. Brahmannandam is at his best. He plays both comedy and
serious action with flair.
The music is average and the
screnplaya nd direction are weak. The new hero has a long way to go.
Soumya is also very unconvincing. In short, the film is a drag.Movie Rating:
